Meet Amanda Young, our resident plant enthusiast and certified horticulturist. She has extensive knowledge of different plant species and common practices in the green industry. Amanda’s love for plants inspired her to explore entrepreneurship and is the creative force behind Sprouting Lifestyle. Established in 2022, Sprouting’s mission is to share the joy and healing benefits of plants being integrated in everyday life.

Wanting to further her education, Amanda pursued a degree in Horticultural Sciences, honing her knowledge and learning tools to turn this business venture into a success. With an ever-curious mind, Amanda continues to learn about new plants and innovative care techniques, staying at the forefront of the botanical world. FAQs

We offer repotting services to our maintenance clients, but do not take on only plant repotting/refresh projects for residential or commercial businesses. If you are interested in this we can provide you resources or other businesses in KC that offer this service.
We wont lie to you, it will be hard to get anything to survive in a space with no access to sunlight, though there are a couple ways to work around this by adding grow lights or using low light tolerant and rotating them throughout your apartment.
There are many benefits to adding plants to your space including, but no limited to, improving air quality, noise reduction, better mental health and mood by reducing depression and anxiety, increase productivity and attention, as well as curating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
Yes! Our plant care services are available to both residential and commercial businesses. Specifically for the maintenance route, you do not need to be at home if you are busy as long as we have a way to access your space and lock up behind us.
We also design and maintain outdoor plant containers and raised beds as well as create landscape designs mainly using native plant species to encourage pollinators and increase biodiversity!
